Less than half an hour from Calais with indoor caravan storage
A three star campsite 20km from Calais, with well kept pitches and good facilities, the campsite offers secure undercover storage for caravans.
All the pitches are clearly defined and separated by hedges. Their ‘passage’ pitches are close to the reception and facilities. Nice and easy to manoeuvre onto, they are a great option if you are arriving tired and just want to stop driving.
Dog aren’t forgotten about either and have their own off lead enclosed area, complete with agility equipment and a box of toys! A great way to tire them out before the journey, or wear them out if they’ve been stuck in the car. Sleeping pups guaranteed!
Families will also appreciate the large open spaces, complete with sports gear and giant games. I didn’t see any footballs available but the two French ladies who run it, Laure and Laura are on site and on hand for anything you need.
Their hard work really shows as everything is clean and well maintained. The reason for the security tape in these pics isn’t due to maintenance but Covid 19 restrictions.
There is also a bar and restaurant, but again, due the timing of our visit and the restrictions, we couldn’t sample anything. There’s always next year!
To stock up we drove 5 minutes to Ardres, which has a range of shops, bars and restaurants plus a large Auchan supermarket and petrol station. In fact the petrol at this station was cheaper than the motorway options so we filled up.
